  • JanuaryBegin to launch the partnership between Hörmann UK and Alzheimer’s Society. Hörmann UK have been holding Dementia awareness seminars for staff to attend and be properly informed of the cause and how to best support them. Click here to view the gallery.

  • FebruaryHörmann UK are organising a charity pub quiz and tombola evening at a local pub in Leicestershire for staff and locals to attend. Prizes have been donated by local companies and all money raised is of course being donated to Alzheimer’s Society. Click here to view the gallery.

  • March“The Great Hörmann Bake Off” – Hörmann staff will pay to enter themselves into a baking competition, followed by pay-to-taste sessions and judging. Click here to view the gallery.

  • AprilFarmageddon is an organised athletic event in Leicestershire, which is comprised of obstacles and challenging terrain. Our participants have 5K, 10K and 20K distances to choose from, with all staff entrants raising money for Alzheimer's Society. Click here to view the gallery.

  • May
    Dementia Awareness Week runs from May 17th - 23rd. We will be seizing this opportunity to raise awareness of the illness by organising a small internal fundraisers, decorating our offices and informing our customers of our support work.

  • July 
    The Great Hörmann IT Sell-Off sees our Systems department host an auction for our staff to participate in the bidding of ex-business technology in a closed-auction format. The highest bidder wins!

  • September 
    Our Managing Director is partaking in both HOPE's Italian Job charity cycle ride and the Great North Run. 

  • October 
    We are holding a Dealer Week (October 5th-9th) where we will be donating a fixed amount for every door from a select product range ordered within this time frame. 

  • November 
    Our sales office and product services department are holding a pyjama party in order to raise funds for the charity. Along with this, they will be raffling off an extra days holiday to staff members!.

    For December, we used the Alzheimer's Society webshop to give our employees the opportunity to buy discounted Christmas items. We ordered the items through the website, and sold them to our staff with 50% off; thus donating 150% of the cost in total! -
