Wireless contact strip evaluation through interference-free infrared transmission

The wireless contact strip evaluation (transmitter and receiver) is located well protected in the side guide rail. It provides reliable and trouble-free transmission of the closing edge impulse via infrared and replaces the spiral cable. The transmitter is supplied with power by common batteries (for approx. 100,000 door opening cycles).
