That's why Hörmann rolling grilles come with a direct drive operator and the ZAK^® roll-on gear system as standard features. Rolling grilles are always used in situations calling for good ventilation, an unobstructed view and security. For instance in underground garages, multi-storey car parks, shopping arcades and ventilated storerooms.

A high standard of safety and security
Hörmann rolling grilles are equipped as standard with a burglar-retardant shutter security kit to prevent forced entry.
When the grilles are automated, a roll-up safety device and closing edge safety device prevent injuries and damage to the curtain. For maximum safety we recommend the use of a through-traffic photocell.

Hörmann rolling grilles are available in four material types: galvanized steel, stainless steel, standard aluminium and reinforced aluminium.
