Fit for any indoor sporting activity
The Hörmann sports hall door complies with the Accident Prevention Regulations for Schools in German (UVV Schulen) of the compulsory health insurance GUV-V S1. The door leaf ist tested for thrown ball safety (bounce resistance) to DIN 18032 and by the FMPA (Research and Materials Testing Institute for the Construction Industry Stuttgart).

Open for on-site infill

The door frame is made up of sturdy rectangular steel tubes with horizontal reinforcement struts and is optimally prepared to take an on-site infill.

  • For an on-site timber infill with a boarding thickness of at least 16 mm. Max. weight 16 kg/m².
    Important: The boarding must be without joins over the full width/height.
    Door leaf frame perforated all round, galvanized and powder-coated in Terra Brown (similar to RAL 8028).

  • For on-site integral board covering (impact protective padding), max. 7 kg/m². This door version is prepared at the factory with a subframe of vertical ribbed steel, coated with a primer in Traffic White (similar to RAL 9016).

    Sports hall doors are generally fitted in the opening and close flush with the interior wall of the hall. They do not protrude into the hall, neither on opening nor in the opened state.
