LTE40 and LPU40 Ribbed
Hörmann ribbed doors are recognised by their absolutely even divisions. The design of the profile spacing is matched precisely to the different door heights, you cannot tell where the section divisions are. The woodgrain textured surface is very attractive.
With the S ribbed profile, you have the choice between the great-value-for-money single-skinned LTE40 and the double-skinned thermally insulated LPU40 door.
The single-skinned LTE40 door is recommended for free-standing, unheated garages which do not need thermal insulation.
The LPU40 door with 42mm thick sections, containing CFC free PU insulation is the best solution for garages where especially good thermal insulation is required. For instance if you have set up a home workshop in your garage or your garage is integral to the house and you wish to use it as play room for the children or a party room for the adults. Whatever your desired use for what can be an extra room, specifying the LPU40 will save energy costs and therefore cash with this thermally insulated door.
Other advantages of the thermally insulated LPU40 doors are:- The door runs particularly quietly, due to less resonance noise.

Safety for you and your family
- Safety in line with European Standard 13241-1 (valid since May 1st "005). Protection against trapping fingers between the sections, protection against side traps and safety to stop the door crashing down.

The tough surface is resistant to rust as rain easliy runs off the woodgrain surface.
