Fast-opening by spring force
Thanks to the robust construction with minimum wearing parts, these doors are designed for high-level functionality. Kept closed under spring pressure, the doors can be opened instantly by pull rope.The doors are closed manually against the spring pressure.

It goes without saying that Hörmann fire station folding doors meet the safety regulations for vehicle maintenance and repair ZH 1/454 and the workplace ordinance ZH 1/525.

Regulations for fire station folding doors
In accordance with DIN 14092, Part 2, fire station folding doors must open 90° inwards. Opening to the outside is allowed in exceptional circumstances, eg in the case of renovations / replacements. In addition, the Standard requires a minimum passage width of 3500 and a minimum passage height of 3500 or 4000 mm.
