Cushion dock seals require experienced input - call Hörmann the experts
The use of cushion dock seals requires that the vehicles must match the products, your supplier's vehicles as well as your own. What does your own fleet look like? What type of suppliers lorries usually dock? Because everything must be perfectly matched.Lorries with a fixed body but without top flap door are ideal. If the prerequisites can be met, cushion dock shelters offer excellent conditions for the loading of exchangeable and rolling containers. The DAK-3 type with its specially combined sealing elements is particularly recommended for hanging goods, such as textiles or, for example, for transporting meat in refrigerated vehicles. Safely docked, well sealed The lorry with doors open is backed against the cushion dock seals, which on docking are compressed by 50 mm. The top seal depends on the type chosen (see brochure for version options). Rubber buffers protect the building and prevent the dock seals from being over-compressed.

Design and quality features
The cushions are filled with 100% CFC-free PU foam and offer good flexibility thanks to integral air chambers. Together with the robust multiplex frame and the high quality woven fabric reinforced synthetic flaps (620 g/m2), the cushions form a hard-wearing unit. The front faces of the cushions are additionally reinforced by high-frequency welded polyester strips (1750 g/m2) across the full width and are therefore low in wear and more resistant to penetration by vehicle door hinges etc.
