The choice is yours: With the double-skinned sectional garage doors LPU 67 Thermo and LPU 42 you can rely on outstanding or very good thermal insulation, plus increased stability and smoother running. If the design of your house is dominated by timber, then Hörmann sectional doors LTH 42 with solid timber infill are particularly suited for you. The LPU 42 PremiumPlus sectional garage door offers increased corrosion protection for areas in maritime climates with an end-coated door leaf, a powder-coated premium frame and ribbed filler profiles for better sealing.

Double-skinned LPU sectional doors and side doors are additionally available as standard in Traffic white (RAL 9016) as well as in 15 inexpensive preferred colours, and in approx. 200 colours from the RAL* colour chart as well as in many NCS and DB colours.

For a harmonious appearance, the same colour can be used on the inside and outside of doors with Woodgrain and Silkgrain surface finishes – in the Comfort variant, this even includes colour matching of door leaf reinforcements, glazing frames, etc. All other insides of the door are supplied in colour Grey white (RAL 9002). Dark colours should not be used for double-skinned steel doors that are exposed to the sun, as possible section deflection may damage the door. All colours are based on RAL. The colours and surfaces shown are subject to the limitations of the printing process and cannot be regarded as binding. Please seek the expert advice of your Hörmann specialist dealer.

The Duragrain surface has an impressive detailed, natural and colourfast door appearance. An innovative digital print on a galvanized section with priming in RAL 9002 and a high-quality protective paint finish create an attractive door appearance that lasts. The fascia panel and other accessories are available in a decor print.

Modern door design with a matching look: Our new, exclusive Duragrain decors for LPU 42 sectional garage doors with L-ribbing are perfectly matched to the MatchDecor decors of the same name for our ThermoSafe aluminium entrance doors. This combination creates a harmonious overall appearance as if cast from the same mould. The five new decors Cement, Rusty Patina, Wild Oak, Barnwood and Barnwood grey provide an extraordinary door design and accentuate a modern facade design.
The new decors are transferred to the surface of the door using state-of-the-art technology and produce a true-colour and detailed appearance. A patented coating process is used for ThermoSafe MatchDecor entrance doors and an innovative digital printing process for garage doors. An additional protective coating makes the Duragrain surface particularly hard-wearing, scratch-resistant and stain-resistant and ensures a long-lasting, beautiful door view. The designs are available as Duragrain decors for LPU 42 sectional garage doors with L-ribbing and for ThermoSafe entrance doors as MatchDecor surface finishes for a total of 18 styles.
Flush-fitting fascia panels
For LPU doors, a flush-fitting fascia panel is the most elegant solution for an invisible transition between the panel and door leaf. When the door is closed, the top door section is flush with the panel.

The bidirectional radio system BiSecur features future-oriented technology for the convenient and secure operation of garage and entrance gate operators, door operators, lights and more.
This extremely secure BiSecur encryption protocol, developed by Hörmann, with a stable, interference-free range makes sure that no one can copy your radio signal. It was tested and certified by security experts at Bochum university and independent test institutes.
