Insulated doors for cold rooms
Our HID-80 hinged cold room doors and HIS-80 sliding cold room doors have been developed for applications down to 0 °C. Both doors have an 80 mm thick door leaf that is foamed with polyurethane (PU).
Two surface variants are available: stainless steel (circular matt or polished) and coated steel (RAL 9002, optional RAL of your choice). The doors are supplied with a maximum degree of prefabrication and can be installed quickly and easily with a thermal block frame. Since the doors are fitted in front of the wall opening, fitting is possible in all construction situations.
The HID-80 cold room hinged door is available with a maximum size of 1230 mm x 2300 mm. The co-extruded, all-round seal of the door leaf was specially developed for this door.
The HIS-80 cold room sliding door is available as a manually operated sliding door with a maximum size of 4000 mm x 2800 mm. When the door is closed, a specially developed seal also prevents energy loss. The door is designed with extra-large rollers for easy handling with little actuation force. You can also choose between a wall guide and bottom guide.

Insulated doors for freezers
Freezer rooms for temperatures down to -28°C can be equipped with our HID-120 hinged freezer room doors and HIS-120 sliding freezer room doors. Both provide reliable insulation thanks to their 120 mm thick PU-foamed door leaf. Air exchange is prevented when the door is closed.
The Thermo block frame, which is prepared at the factory, keeps fitting time to a minimum. The integrated, self-regulating frame heating prevents the sealing from freezing while minimising energy consumption. This means that the sealings remain intact for longer and the door can be opened easily at any time. The all-round seals of the freezer doors can be easily replaced in case of maintenance.
The HID-120 and the HIS-120 are available in two surface finishes: in stainless steel, either circular matt or polished, and in coated steel in RAL 9002, optionally also in RAL of your choice.
The HID-120 swing door is available in a maximum size of 1230 mm x 2300 mm, the HIS-120 sliding door in a maximum size of 4000 mm x 2800 mm. The sliding door is manually operated and can be fitted with floor or wall guides.
Combination of insulated doors and swing doors or insulated doors
Maximum energy efficiency and optimised traffic flow
A combination of insulated doors and swing doors or insulated gates can create an ideal synergy depending on the area of application.
Sliding doors can be combined with Hörmann swing doors. Whilst the HIS-120 sliding door is open when frozen goods are being retrieved or stored, the double-action door keeps the cold air in the freezer, reducing energy consumption.
The doors can also be combined with the F 4010 Cold high-speed folding door. This flexible door has a triple-insulated curtain and an opening speed of 1 m/s to ensure a fast flow of traffic. This reduces cooling losses in deep-freeze areas during daytime operation when the insulated sliding door is open and the deep-freeze door is in use. In addition, the sliding door is closed at night to achieve optimal insulation.
