Hörmann supplies reliable steel and stainless steel sliding doors for all types of buildings, available in single-leaf, double-leaf and telescopic designs, which separate large fire compartments from one another. OD fire sliding doors are tested in accordance with European fire protection requirements and comply with product standards EN 16034 and EN 13241. This means that the products bear the CE marking and can be used in any country within the EU. Country-specific approvals or certificates are not required.

Hörmann OD fire sliding doors are available as fire-retarding (El230) and fire-proof (El260, El290 and El2120) fire protection solutions. In addition, the doors are available in a version with smoke protection (S200) and a tight-sealing version (Sa) as optional extras.
Smoke-tight fire sliding doors with fire protection ensure safe escape and rescue routes. They are recommended for all areas where people need to be protected from the spread of life-threatening smoke in the event of a fire.

Fire protection sliding doors with a threshold-free wicket/escape door are ideal for facilitating pedestrian passage and for the passage of hand trolleys or small trolleys. For fire safety reasons, escape doors are generally fitted with top-mounted door closers as standard.
On request, the single-leaf and double-leaf fire sliding doors and wicket doors are available in a lockable version.
